SUMMARY OF POSITION 
The Director of Operations for Company Stores oversees all company-owned restaurants' operational functions, supervising 6 Regional Managers and approximately 40 Restaurant Locations. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to optimize operations, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. The Director of Operations will work closely with regional managers, general managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with company objectives and standards.

 This position will be based out of Kansas City and travel up to 70% .

  • Proven experience in restaurant operations management, with a track record of driving results and achieving targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams to deliver exceptional performance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of resturant industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and systems.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum of 5 years multi-unit management in a restaurant industry

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP(S)
Reports directly to: Vice President, Operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards for company-owned restaurants.
  • Provide leadership and direction to regional managers, general managers, and staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
  • Monitor performance metrics, such as sales, inventory levels, and guest satisfaction, and develop action plans to address areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and human resources, to support operations and achieve company goals.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for enhancing the customer experience and increasing sales.
  • Manage budgets and expenses for operations, including payroll, supplies, and maintenance, while striving to achieve cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies at all store locations.

 Vendor/Outside service contacts, guests, community groups and marketing associates.

EDUCATION LEVEL  
Bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management or a related field, MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Compensation: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
